Minka’s Toothbrush Movement took part in the successful dental mission held in Calamba, Laguna last August 23rd. Together with Human Nature and the Philippines Dental Association, that day was dedicated to having free dental services to people who have little or minimal access to it. There were around 200 beneficiaries who participated, all from Gawad Kalinga Village in Calamba, Laguna.
We were more than happy and thrilled to be a part of this amazing experience. Our toothbrush is made with being earth-friendly in mind. We wanted to give back to both society and Mother Earth, which is why this dental mission was a really important event for us. The bamboo toothbrushes we gave away from our Toothbrush Movement are made from Moso bamboo. This means that when you dispose of it, it does not take a lot of years to decompose. Instead, our eco-friendly toothbrushes rot accordingly and causes little harmful impact to the environment. Minka’s toothbrushes (Toothbrush Movement) do not pollute the environment. If you want to do your share in taking care of our earth, using our toothbrush would be a good step towards a greener lifestyle.
Earth-friendly and spreading goodness. That’s what we are all about. And so we plan on doing more dental missions within this year to other Gawad Kalinga Villages around Metro Manila and the country. If you wish to be a volunteer and help us spread goodness in this mission, please do not hesitate to contact us at our Contact Us page. Also, feel free to leave your thoughts and suggestions below. (We hope you do connect and communicate with us!)
